I traded in a 2003 Ford Ranger 4/4 xlt with 42000 in excellant condition (in good faith), for a Rav 4 2003 41000 on it, which they said was in the back and they would bring it around for me to drive. I kept asking to see the vehicle, as we were filling in the papers. They kept telling me don't worry it was in the back being gone through and they would bring it around.
After the papers were signed, they told me it wasn't there. The next day they said they would take it down to Putnam and register it, then drop it off at my house. When they brought it, he handed me one key. I asked where the key pads were to lock and unlock the doors, he said we don't have any more. It's going to cost me 225.00 to get them made from a local dealer. The tires need replacing. I have to change the oil and it didn't even have the rubber on the driver side wind shield wiper.
I am 71 yrs and have never seen such deceit and deception. I have bought and traded many vehicles and have never dealt with such unscrupulous people. Obviously these people no nothing of "good faith". I always thought the law and courts would stand behind the "good faith law". From reading complaints, I see they don't. Some one should shut that place down.
