Poor Consumer Relations turned me off before I could get hooked

I expressed interest in an extended warranty with this company via the internet. I received a call from them at work to get additional information but did not have the VIN for the car so was told I would receive a call at 7:00 pm that night at home to continue the quote process.in the interim, I decided they did not need a VIN to give me information about their plans or costs. But it didn't matter as the rep never called me at home anyway.

Today I got another call at work asking for the VIN. I disputed their need for this and was told that, since they are the wholesaler, they need more information than other warranty companies. When I asked why no one called me the night before and complained about how that is a poor way to do business, they hung up on me.

I came across this site to do further research on this company before giving them any more consideration. I see many others have had issues and am very happy I did not go further with them. They also claimed they underwrite the manufacturers extended warranty. If I find this to be true, I will not consider that coverage either.
