Ken perry automax scam! Ripoff!

I received an e-mail from Jessica Lockerd telling me about this great opportunity making $3400 after the first week. I thought great I will give it a shot. Well I showed up with my resume as instructed had the interview with this man named Ken Perry. He told me you have the job and didn't even mention any fee.

I was really excited, I went home told my wife and daughter how our lives were about to change and how soon we'd be able to pay off all our debt. Well my wife quit her job so she could stay at home with our daughter while I went through this training class.

The next day I showed up and so did about 23 other people. Immediatly my heart jumped into my throat. I thought great how the hell are all these people gonna fill this position. Ken Perry (aka. Slimey weasle) made us all stay there all day. He was more of a damn motivational speaker than a car dealer. His fake smile and his tatics would only fool the naive and unlearned.

All day the talk on breaks was 'how much will this cost?' so I asked him. He said don't worry about that just enjoy the class. But after 4 hours of his B.S. I called him out in front of the class. He was obviously angery with me but responded none the less. "The dealer will pay most of the cost we only ask you for $298." I was pissed to say the least.

You see this scam is a great one. First off the dealer can use this class as a business expense. And of course the Lockerd's make their money. So none of these chicken hawks care if they ruin peoples lives. I told him that there was no way I could spend that kind of money, 'don't worry about it in some cases he would foot the bill out of his own pocket'.

SO at the end of the day he advised me that he wasn't sure if he would pay my way but asked me if I returned the next day with a maybe would I come back. After all the hype about automax that all the employees at the dealership talked I figured why not.

Well the next day came and went after 11 hours at this place and still no answers. I couldn't waste another day at this place. I mean hell one more day could mean one more day closer to us losing our house.

But other things began to bother me about this situation. This guy dressed like his clothes where ment to be worn by someone else. Not by some one who was sooo successful. Also for a guy who was so happy-go-lucky he mentioned he had a daughter but sported no wedding ring. Then there was the shady sales pitches and the shistey teachings.

How the hell can you sell a car to some one if the entire time you trying to remeber the four thousand lines this jerk was telling you. Plus I had sales experience and most companies would frown on you smiling at a customer and calling a woman pretty. IT was all just really weird. He talked about the success he had selling ford trucks and if that was the case why is he living out of a suit case and dressed like a bible sales man.

After the second day I was pissed, I spent 21 hours at this place 20 dollars on gas and still didn't know if I had a job. So I called the dealership and asked them what was going on. I stressed my fears for my family and wanted to know my chances of getting the job.

I was told then by a sales manager that even if I floored them with my presentation in front of the class, (Because when you sell a car to someone its in front of 20 people on stage of course logically) that I may not get offerd a position. I was shocked at hearing this I mean how could you preform better than everyone else and not get the job? Do you see the pattern here? Nothing with automax made any sense.

The next day I called KEN PERRY and he began to get very offensive and abusive over the phone he told me that I should be humble with my hand out and basically kiss his ass. Lets just put it this way I hope and pray I meet up with him again in public so we can finish that coversation.

I called two other dealerships and they advised me not to mention that I had attended automax sales training to anyone.in fact the only reason I was considered for the position was because I didn't complete the class and the fact that I seen through all this B.S.

My next step is contacting my representitives, I sure being a vet of 2 branches of the military and serving my country honorably they will listen. The next step after that should be to shut down automax and take the dinner off the plates of the Lockerds.

I don't know how these people can sleep at night. The should be ashamed of themselves for having such shady practices. I rank them with the rest of the get rich quick scams and secret for success in the business world books.

You don't need training to sell a car you just have to listen to people. Take pride in your work and love the product your selling. Wether it is cars, books, etc. Just remeber the golden rule, that will carry you further in this world than anything.

To Ken Perry and the Lockerds I say this "What has a man gained if he has all the riches of the world but loses his soul. God Bless you all and I will pray for you.

In summary I spent 21 hours in training and gas money for a job and received nothing in compensation for my time. I would like to be re-embursed for lost time and oreintation.
