I walked into Eddies to get my car inspected. I have a 2000 Jeep in great condition. The mechanic checked over my Jeep with a fine tooth comb. The ring leader (so called head mechanic) Came out and said my cars front end was in dire need of repair, teling me the whole front axle needed to be replaced.
On top of that I needed new rotors, a hole in the muffler and a side marker light. I did the brakes the same day I walked in there so I know he was lying and I confronted him about it well he stood by his lying story. I paid him my 24.00 bucks for the failed inspection and he handed me a huge repair estimate. Also when I was at Eddies 4 other people before me as well were turned down for inspections for almost the same reasons. He offerd of course to fix the cars at an alarming price tag.
I took my jeep to a dealer the same day to have it looked over and for an inspection, guess what Eddies was right I did need a side marker light. Besides the light the he car passed without a problem. So if your ever looking for an inspection walk right past Eddies.
Ohh He does offer free pizza while you wait to get ripped off and to be honest it's good. He should close that garage and deliver pizza. But if he stiffs ya on the pepperoni don't say I didn't warn ya.
