My family and i have been going to les schwab the same location for 15 years now. I had to go get my tires balanced and rotated but did not have time to drive to the location i always go to do to there closing time. So i decided to go to the lakewood wa location down the street from my home. I walked in told the gentleman what i needed to be done he seemed friendly and that was that. About a half hour later a gentleman who took my car in told me that there was a problem with my tire and i asked to see the problem and he had explained to me that my tire was splitting do to a small alignment problem.
I told him i would go to my location on monday when they are open again to just put my tire back on because i did not have the hundred dollars to replace because i did not expect that to happen the guy told me okay. I this time i had called my step father who is ver familiar with the tires and rims on my car and the warranties and he told me that there was a warrantie and lets see if it would cover the cost for the new tire. I explained to the guy who was working on my car and told him that i had the 3 out of four tires replaced free of charge in october 06 and that i did not have the paperwork but i have all the other paperwork for my warranties. At this time he went to my car and the manager came and took it from him and came out to me and told me that i did not have the paperwork so i would have to pay. I told him i told the guy that and to just to put my tires back on and i will go to my location when they are open and go replace it there because of our reltionship with that location.
He started accusing me of blackmailing the company and getting free tires out of them and told me my "story" does not make sence and he would not give me my car back until i explained to him how i got the tires in october and why where and how and contiuned to accuse me of fraud and so on and on. He went back to the back to talk to his employees about this. He came back out and told me i was full of s* and my story does not add up and that to give me names of who gave my the free tires on my car in october. So i told him that he can not talk to me like that and that i just want my car back now.
I gave him the names so he started calling. He got on the phone and starting sayin some girl here is claiming you guys give her free tires all the time and this and that then started laughing and i interrupted him telling him that is not what i said and he procceed to ignore me and laugh. I told him that he was full of it and he needs to give me my car back he told me no and contiuned to tell me it was not safe at this point i didnt care i just wanted my car and all they wanted was to make money of me.
The manager from the other store gave out a personal account which is not in my name but a relatives of mine with out permission and charged the account after i had told him he cant do that it is illegal he told me he is and thats that i told him no in the process of this he walked away into the bay to tell his employee to put a new tire on he came back out and told me that im a liar and im full of s* again and that my story once again does not make sence and calling me names and telling that if i dont make up my mind im not getting my car back i starteded yelling back at him and told him not to charge that account that im the customer and i want my car and all you are trying to do is make money of a girl quote on quote and he just looked at me and said are you done yelling and i said are you done yelling at me and making your accusations and he said im putting the hundred dollar tire on and thats that i told him now and give me my car now! He said no once again and turned around facing his co workers and said to them"that she justs wants to go home thats why shes mad" keep in mind i was there for two hours and last customer there becuse the store was closed already.
My husband comes and i explain to him he went in and told them to put my tires back on not a new and give me my car back and if u charge that account im calling the cops. He pulled out my car with a new tire and told him no i dont want it the manager said he charged the account already i told him no.
They took my car in and my husband walked over and said just to put orignal tire on and he said it wasnt safe my husband said do as i say or i call cops thats wat we want its are car not yours.
He called my husband an ass and my husband told him to f* off. He ended up putting a spare on and returned my car over two hours later. Im grown live on my own and own my own things and happily married not some lil girl to be tossed around with just because im a female who cares i now my car better then anyone and i now my rights as a customer and did not deserve this. Les schwab does not even have a website to complain but i have address and phone numbers and i will be calling.
