July I ordered a direct fit converter for my Infiniti I30T from Auto Parts Giant. I was sent the wrong part, which I sent back, and received a replacement. The replacement was also incorrect, so I sent that back and requested a credit. I was told the a credit would be issued after confirmation that parts were received back at the warehouse.
After two months of not hearing back or receiving a credit I called and was told that they had never received a credit from the warehouse. I called the warehouse direct - (800) 965-0040 - and spoke with Susan who told me that a credit was issued 8/31/06 back to Auto Parts Giant, so that they could then credit back my credit card. I called Eddie at Auto Parts Giant who promised to investigate.
Finally today 3/20/07, after calling Eddie back for the hundreth time I was told the the credit was Issued to my AMX card in September. Of course after calling AMX about this I found that AMX has no record of this transaction. I was also told that by Eddie taht their credit department does not deal directly with customers and that there was nothing further he could do. Needless to say, I will never deal with them again and I hope this report prevents other people from being ripped off by Auto Parts Giant.
