Ripoff Deceptive Return and billing practices

On Feb 13th we rented a car from Enterprise when our car brokedown in Amarillo, TX while on a trip.

We informed the staff at the Amarillo office that we intended to change to a less expensive car when we reached Flagstaff, AZ and asked if that would be a problem - we were told no and that we could drop the car at any Enterprise office.

What they did not tell us before we took possession of the car, is that we would be charged $1.00 per mile travelled fee to return the car to Amarillo if we left it in Flagstaff, AZ. ($600)
If we had known that we would not have rented the car.

They knew that so omitted telling us about the fee.

I have had to escalate the VP of Customer Relations in order to get this matter resolved and I am still waiting for resolution.

Enterprise claims that Customer Satisfaction is their #1 priority, however the actions of the staff at the Amarillo office and the region manager have shown that is not the case.
