I was charged $350.00 just to have my transmission "looked" at. After that, it was going to cost me another $150.00 just to put the same trasnmission back onto the car. I was quoted substancial amounts of extras as well. I was "sold" on the initial diagnosis which was quoted to me from $600 to $1000.in the end, I was told it would cost me approximately $3000. My car is a '90 Legacey Suburu ($800). What a rip off!
