Complaint / Review
Lake Norman Infiniti
Ripoff Frame work on car was not disclosed at the time of purchasing the ca

My husband purchased a 2003 Infiniti G35 Coupe ($24,000) for me 1/27 from Lake Norman Infiniti. We decided to trade in this car to purchase another vehicle yesterday, 11/18. At that time, we were informed the G35 had frame work done 12/16. (Which was never disclosed to use during the sale) Very anger at this point, I went to Lake Norman Infinit. I spoke w / Greg Hovis, General Manager. I told him the findings regarding my car. (He could tell I was mad) He was very sympathic. He took me into a sales office and wanted to know everything. He had said he would get me into another car and wipe the slate clean with the G35. He had a salesman take me out to the lot to pick out a vehicle. He even told the salesman (Charles) the situation and told him to help me with a car of my choice. Charles, My daughter, and myself located a vehicle I was interested in, took it for a test drive, then went back to Greg Hovis. He, at that point said he could only give me $12,000 for my car. I was not happy and reminded him of what he said when I first walked in (he would wipe the slate clean) but he said he could not loss that much money because he cannot put it out on the lot to resale. (Which it should not have been placed on the lot for me to purchase to begin with) Mr. Hovis should not have mentioned wiping the slate clean unless that was his full intention, in my opinion.

Also, the vehicle I test drove, (2004 Nissan Murano) Mr. Hovis was pricing it at $23,998. When I got home I pulled up the Infiniti website to show my husband the exact car I test drove and believe it or not the car was listed for $21,988. What scam artists... I will present this finding to them when I go back today at 3:30pm.
Mr. Hovis mentions over & over again, Infiniti is under new management/owership and because my car was purchesed before the new owner took possession of the dealership, its really not their problem. However, I totally disagree... If only I were treated fairly, this would never have happened. If only Infiniti would have check this car out the way they advertise they do, this would have never happened. Why should I pay for their mistake. I will go to every extent to make this public. And I need your help doing so. Please call me and I can fax you everything I have in writing. Your help is desperately needed... Thank you.
Sincerely
