I purchased my first car from Future Ford. It was in 2001 and it was a new 2001 Ford Focus. I had the car for 3 months before it started to break down. The power train was find, however everything around it kept breaking. I tried to return the car and they told me I had to position with a written essay letter to Ford Motors Corp. I was not interested in doing so. I stuck out the car and 2 years later was fed up with the car falling apart and decided to call and complain to management again. I let them know that it was a lemon and their service dept agreed. They told me that specific Focus' are having problems. Mainly the ones build in Mexico and that was one of the ones I had purchased.
I ended up speaking to a sales manager who said the he understood the problem with my car and would do his best to help. He told me he would work out a great deal on a new Focus that did not have any problems. He said he would help me out since Ford sold me a bad car. I went down there and they kept me there all day. I picked out a car with the help of 2 Sales Men. We did the paperwork for the deal and I found out that they were not trying to help me. They were putting over a of the current loan on to the new car. Completely going against what they said they would do. My error was that I had signed everything before I understood what was going on. Bravo to them for making me so wore out and tired that I did not realize what I was doing. Shoot, you sit at a car lot for 8 hours and tell me how wore out you get!
After realizing this I decided I was not going to take home the new car. My current car was parked in the front and I had walked out to it. As I stood there they drove my new car and parked it behind my current car. I told them that I didn't realize what they were doing and I didn't feel good about the deal. At that time it was already 8pm and they were locking the doors of the dealership. I said that I was not going to drive off the new car from the lot until I went over the paper work with the Manager. They spent another hour trying to make me take the car. Then they started to unload my current car and putting all my things in the new car. I got pissed that they were touching my things. I figured I had no way out so I stopped them and gathered my own things. They were not letting me off the car lot unless I was in the new car. I was forced into the new car. I started to drove off the new car when one of the sales men flagged me down and had the nerve to ask me for a ride home. Apparently while they were out side strong arming me into the new car the dealership locked up the doors and locked him out of the dealership and his keys. The other sales man lucky had the keys to his motor cycle. I took the Jerk home and dropped him off. I did that to use it against him. I then took the car back the next day to the store manager and explained everything that happened. They gave me my old car back and took back the new car. However, they never fired the sales men that strong armed me into the new car.
