Here is a chronological narrative of the events which transpired over the past 7 months in respect to my interaction with Chuck Magyar, the owner of the Weeping Willow Garage in Washington, Warren County, New Jersey:
Friday, April 14:
My car, a 1987 Chevrolet Camaro Z28, was driven to the Weeping Willow Garage for repairs.
I spoke with the owner of the garage and told him that I wanted him to fix the brakes, give the engine a complete tune-up, and check out the vehicle to see if there was anything wrong with it that I didn't already know about. I told him that since I didn't not need the car for transportation, time would not be a factor in finishing the repairs, although I made it clear that since I intended on having body work done to the car after it was repaired, I would like the repairs to be completed by the end of the summer at the latest.
Friday, May 5:
I stopped by the Weeping Willow Garage and dropped off a Hurst Dual Gate Shifter (specifically made to fit the console of 1982-1992 Chevy Camaros equipped with a TH-700R4 Transmission) and asked Chuck to install it for me. He said that he would install it as soon as possible.
Monday, July 24:
I stopped by the Weeping Willow Garage to check on the progress of the repairs on my car. Chuck told me that although he had fixed the brakes, he had not yet given the car a tune-up, or thoroughly checked out the vehicle. He also told me that the Hurst Shifter which I had given him to install didn't fit. I took back the shifter, and after opening the box, discovered that the shifter had never been removed from its original packaging.
