Pioneer Chevrolet
Sold me a lemon, they KNEW that the transmition was bad, and they LIED and told me their service dept. Found nothing mechanically wrong except the car needed new tires

I am disabled and on a fixed income, on sept. 15, i bought a 2001 chrysler sebring from pioneer. They told me the car had been checked by their service dept and was mechanically in good condition, they had found nothing wrong other than it needed new tires. They also told me that they were not providing a dealer warranty because the car was still under manufacturers warranty. On nov. 10, i was left stranded in the middle of the freeway when without warning the transmition went out. I had the car towed to pioneer to be repaired believing it was still under warranty. 3 days later pioneer called and told me they THINK it is the transmission torque converter, they dont know for sure because they did not take it apart, but the mechanic had test driven it and thats what he THINKS it is. Then i was informed that the repair would cost $1700.00 to repair and that it was not under warranty and hadnt been when i bought the car. I would like to know how the mechanic TEST DROVE the car when it would not move. I am on a fixed income i spent every penny i had to purchase that car and on the new tires. I do not have $1700.00. Through a car history report i found out that they KNEW all along the transmission was bad because the previous owner had the car worked on in their service dept. THEY KNOWINGLY RIPPED ME OFF!!! They took every penny i had.
