Harrleson Nissan will Rip You Off. BEWARE! Rippoff. I wouldn't buy a skateboard from this company after my experience, and I have told my co workers and family NOT to do bussiness with Harrelson Nissan

More crooked dealings at Harrelson dealership...

I was in Harrelson Nissan on July 20 when I purchsed a car. The transaction was over at closing time around 8:30P.M. First of all when I went there I was test driving a car from Honda of Rock Hill. I was telling the finance guy (Tim Chriss) that I wasn't sure if I was going to get the car because my uncle and cousin seem to think it was wrecked. I told him I wanted to see what he had on his lot.

He and the salesman (Alexander Gaines) insisted that I go back to the Hionda dealership and get my car, the one I was thinking of trading in. Mr. Chriss instructed Mr. Gaines to go with me to get my car in case the dealer gave me any trouble when I got there. I told mr. Chirss, I really didnt want Mr. Gaines to go with me. He told Mr. Gaines to change his shirt, so they wouldnt see the Nissan logo. He persisted that he go with me so I let him.

On the ride to Honda, the salesman said he would pretend to be a uncle and to let him do the talking, a nd that if this didnt work he told me what to say to the bank when they called me on the phone. We went and got my car and on the way back the salesman said..."After I helped you get your car surley your going to get a car from me". I told him I wasnt sure. We test drove a couple cars. I felt really pressured to buy a car after the salesman went with me to the Honda dealership. As I said the sale was done on Thursday night ending at 8:30P.M.

I got home and realized I really mad a huge mistake. I called the dealership and I spoke to my salesman Alexander Gaines, and I told him that I really needed to return the car because I made a mistke. That I really felt pressured. Mr. Gaines informed me "the deal was done." And that I couldnt return the car. Saturday the following day July 22, I called to speak to the finance guy Mr. Tim Chriss. I was told that he was on vacation until Wed. So they transfered me another finance person Eric.

I explained to him about the pressured sale. I also told him that I informed Mr. Chriss and Mr. Gaines that the car that was used for the transaction has a car title loan agaist it. And that did not have the title to the car. They pushed the paperwork through anyway. I expressed to Mr. Eric that this was a huge mistake. And he told me to call him back in 30 mintues. After hanging up with him I called the bank that financed the loan (Americredit). I called Mr. Eric back and told him that I called the bank that finaced the loan to tell them That I didnt not want the loan.

The bank (Americreadit) said that I was already processed in their computer and that it was up to the dealership. The bank informed me that they were willing to let me out of the contract but it was up to the dealership, she informed me that the dealership could do a "buy Back" on the car and give me my car back without any problems if they wanted to. Eric told me that this was highly unlikly to happen he said that it would cost the dealership. However, the bank said it was mearly paperwork that needed to be done.

Eric it would cost the Nissan dealership a couple of thousand of dollars, I asked Mr. Eric I said well, charge me the fee, I really cant afford this car, the sale was pressured and it was a huge mistake. He told m e I needed to get the title to them soon or they gonna think its fraud on my part. I didnt understand, how is it fraud on my part, I told them I didnt have the title and i told them who had the title. I countiuned to call with no satisfation in my efforts.

I finally called and spoke to Mr. Louis Harrleson on Friday July 28 at 2:30 PM he was at the Harrleson Ford. I told him I was having a problem at one of his car lots. I told him it was the Nissan car lot in Rock Hill. He told me to call Lyllod Edwards and he gave me the number. He told me when someone answers the phone to tell them... That he said (Louis Harrleson) said for Mr. Edwards to resolve my problem. I called and the and told the recepionist what mr. Harrleson said and she said Mr. Edwards was outside on the lot.

I would think if the owner of a place I worked sent word for an emplyee to come to the phone she would have tried harder to make it happen. I told her I would call back later. I called back later and she informed me he was with a customer.

I got off work Saturday morning and as soon as they opened I called back in hopes to speak to Mr. Edwards, just knowing my complaint would be handled after the boss sent word for him to take care of things. I called and spoke to Mr. Edwards and I expessed to him that I tried to go through the chain of comand. He informed me that he was the end of the chain. I explain to him about the pressured sale and before I could get all of my words out he said..."you've had the car for 8 days". I told him I had ben calling since "day 1".

I have been getting the run around. Then he told me they dont take cars back. How is this so, not only had his employee went with me to return Honda their car. But if my loan hadnt went through they would have been at my house in a heatbeat to get the car. I dont understand how the deal is done when there is a lein on my trade in, which I told them. And on the contract their is a sentence that says. The contract cant be changed just because you change your mind but the next sentence says its up to the dealership. I did a little research on the bank Americredit and the things I read have not been good. I just wish I had talken someone with me.

After returning home after the sale i felt "raped". Yes, I said raped... I think others should know to look out for pushy salemen. I was on the way the making my credit score better. Now I ama in such a awful situation. This company Americredit, i would have never agreed to be finance through them if I had known what I know now. It just seems like Harrleson nissan wouldnt want the negative publicity it is coming up on the aniversary on their negative dealing last year this time... The following is what happened this time last year...

FBI Visits Four Charlotte Car Dealerships, Seize Files

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — FBI agents moved in and employees stood back at four Harrelson dealerships along South Boulevard. Video
VIDEO: FBI Agents Storm Four Charlotte Car Dealerships
Federal agents loaded box after box of files from Harrelson Suzuki, Harrelson Ford, Harrelson Mazda, and Harrelson Hyundai onto a U-Haul truck.

Funzel Poage said his early morning car-shopping trip to Harrelson Ford took a strange twist when he was hustled out of the show room by FBI agents.

"When I walked in there, they asked me to step out. Then I saw the FBI agents running in there. I didn't know what it was so I decide to come on home, " he said.
Poage said he was asked to leave and the employees were asked to stay put by the agents.

It happened the same way with the other dealerships along South Boulevard.

Poage said he didn't know that trying to buy a new car would be a challenge.

"Any time the FBI comes up, you get kind of nervous, like, 'What's going on?'" he said.

The FBI said they were executing searches of the four dealerships but wouldn't release information about what they were looking for. But inside the dealerships, you could see the agents typing on keyboards and going through filing cabinets.

Poage said he didn't know what the FBI was looking for, but he probably wouldn't be back.

The dealerships are still open for business even though the FBI took down the computer systems.
Harrelson's attorney, Peter Anderson, said the warrants don't center on the owner, Louis F. Harrleson.
The FBI search warrant won't be unsealed until the federal government is ready to press charges.

I would not advise anyone to buy from ANY Harrleson dealership, but especially not Harrelson Nissan in Rock Hill SC... 2574 Cherry Rd 29732.
