I'm on disability and i bought this 97 dodge caravan on may 12- 2006. I paid 850.00 down and 690.00 for tax and tags. A total of 1540,00 total. As soon as i got it off the lot it started overheating. The air compressor broke down. The horn did not work and the headlights are faulty. The transmission is always leaking and now the fuel line sprung a leak so i asked them to tow it and fix it. God only knows how much this will cost me.
I had them repair the van once and i asked them to put what repair work they did but they did not. They put 82.00 towards repair on the receipt and thats all. The van was sold as is but i thought that was what all dealers did and that it would at least last for awhile.
I did ask for my money back from the owner - steve francis but was refused. I have not been able to use this van for about half the time i've had it, it drinks transmission fluid a lot cause of the leak. I have the name and address and phone number of the previous owner who took it back for the same reasons and left it. I'll have to e-mail you tomorrow and give it to you i don't have it with me.
These people know the vehicles are going to break down and sell them knowing there are problems. Can you help me? I have to wait till the 1st to add minutes to my phone but you can e-mail me and let me know if you can help. Thank you for your help,
Sincerly, norma
