Ripoff simple transmission reseal turned into an overhaul

I took my Corvette into a transmission shop for a simple reseal, the transmission was shifting well, it had not wear I had changed the oil and found mo metal in the pan, the only problem was that it was leaking. I asked the owner just to have it resealed, from the start he said hey with a car like this I recomend an overhaul, I said no I just want a reseal it is leaking only, it is not slipping or giving me any trouble, he started out with a 250.00 charge for a reseal, when I returned to his shop the next day as he requested he had my car on the lift, and the transmission was out of the car completely diasembled, I asked why he tore it apart if I only asked for a reseal, he said that he found metal in the pan of my transmission, i knew that this was not true bucause I had just changed the oil in it and I had installed a new gasket and pan. He also said that I needed a new torque converter, I said that I just wanted a reseal, he laughed and said well you can take your car just pay me 500.00 for taking it down and apart, I said are you going to put it back together he said no, I will put the parts in the car and you can tow it home, I felt like calling the police, but he said well I can do a mechanics lean and keep your car, I knew that I just wanted to get my car out of his shop the next day I returned with a check and a tow truck, but he had overhauled the transmission, and said that he had done the work and that in order to do it right that I needed to have a remanufactured torque converter installed, I agreed just to get my car back, I picked up the car a week later, but it would not shift because they broke the shifter cable. Out of desperation I paid him he demanded cash so I ran to the bank got him cash he said leave me the car and I wil special order a cable for you I said no just push the car out into the street and I'll drive it home, I crawled under the car and tried to put it into drive, but i could not start it because the car wont start in drive, i called a tow truck and had it towed to a friends place he fixed the shifter cable and I got to drive the car it does not shift into low 1 or low 2, and my friend told me that they put the same torque converter back into the transmission. The owner has a way of intimidating his clients and indirectly threatens you with a mechanics lean right off the bat all in all I got bad service paid 1000.00 and my corvette drived badly.
