Ripoff Manager Jim HANGS UP on customer THROWS CREDIT CARDS and SLAMS keys on the counter back to Customer!

I got an oil change on my car at Precision Tune Auto Care on 3/13/06. I had a coupon but unfortunately it was expired, which I understood. Jim the manager said he couldn't take it because they check the coupons because you have to staple it to the receipt. Bull, but okay! I can except that. I left my car and went back to work and took a look online to see if I can find a coupon because besides the oil change I wanted my tires rotated! I called him and told him about the coupon and he said that that coupon was only valid if I bought the Premium Oil change and the Tire Rotation which is 20 bucks by the way. Then I can deduct the 5 dollars. I simply said, "ohh okay! Just wanted to make sure!" Something wasn't right so I started asking my co-workers how they interpreted the coupon. I was right. I was able to get 5 dollars off with the purchase of only the Premium Oil Change and it included the oil, refill all the fluids, plus tire rotation, so I called back. He wasn't happy to hear from me again. I told him, "I don't think I read the coupon right. It says..." but before I could finish he was telling me that he knew what coupon I was talking about and that he was right and that I needed to purchase the tire rotation too and that my car was ready anyways, and that the computer wouldn't let him change the order I had placed and that he couldn't use the coupon anyways because everything was done. That I could still do the tire rotation but it would be for additional amount. I commented that I thought that was high since I had gotten oil changes at Wal-Mart for $19.99 and added the tire rotation for something around $4.95. Again I didn't get to finish because he started yelling and telling me how he knew Wal-Marts prices and that wasn't what they charged and he just went on and on. So at this point I'm irritated because he's not explaining the packages they offer and he's not listening. So I said, "... Are you going to go on and on and on or are you going to let me talk?" The son-a-va hung up on me. I was in complete disbelief. I didn't call back, but I went in to get my car (praying they hadn't done anything to it) I walked in and I simply said, "you got a lot of nerve hanging up on me." He's responce; "well when customers tell me to shut up, I can." I told him, "noooo, I asked if you were going to let me talk. I never told you to shut up."

He yells at me what I owe him (yah, after he hungs up on me and yells he's charging me). I told him I wasn't paying until he heard me out. None of that was necessary if he had explained everything good, so he points to the back board where it says that coupons are to be brought in when the car was dropped off. I'm talking to him and yelling back at me and I told him, "you know I worked customer service and I never would have hung up on someone and I've been called a lot of name..." He had the nerve to say, "I bet you have!" I couldn't believe his attitude. I finally paid and he threw the credit card at me and slammed my keys on the counter. I told him, "you don't throw credit cards at customer!" I don't even know what he said cause I was sooo mad! The best part was that on my way out he yelled, "Woooo hoooo!"

I couldn't believe it. I came back and u bet your ass I send an email to their cop, I faxed over a complaint letter, and I called customer service (got no responce so left a message and they haven't called back). I didn't stop there. I filed a complaint with the Business Bureau, annnnnd Consumer Affairs.

I read some of the complaints on Precision Tune and that sorry manager Jim and I couldn't believe it. My problem was minor compared to theirs. He was only just rude to me (he better have changed my oil) but other people had problems with their motors and other were getting ripped off with their rotors.

I'm getting the word out. I say, "stay awayyyyyyyyy!!! From that place."
