Took car to Jiffy Lube 02/25/06, for oil change. Technician took out plug to transmission instead, then rammed it in, stripped plug, cracked transmission case. They put on JB Weld, and told me I had a transmission leak. They continued to try to sell me overpriced additives & so forth. Then, they drive my car out of the garage, tell me "see your transmission is leaking" (not just dripping, but dribbling) transmission fluid (new pink fluid) so I *immediately* drove to my mechanic, he put it on the lift, he showed me the crack, the new JB Weld.By the next day there's this huge puddle of transmission fluid in their parking lot. I can't drive my car at all now. The Jiffy Lube franchise owner is flat out refusing to take care of it. I filed 4 consumer claims so far, State Attorney General of both Texas and Oklahoma, and Better Business Bureau of Houston and also Central Oklahoma. Jiffy Lube does a lot of damage! And they won't own up to their mistakes. My trusted mechanic said Jiffy Lube usually takes care of the damage they cause, but they are refusing to be moral this time. I suppose this Jiffy Lube is such a horrible place to work the employees are afraid to be honest about their mistakes. This isn't just a bad experience, I can't even drive my car now, at all. Jiffy Lube is responsible for fixing the damage they caused. Jiffy Lube Intl is dodgy too. I filed the claim for damage with them immediately. All they do is email the franchise owner! They refuse to give out responsible names or owners. I hunted that down on the internet. If you're in Oklahoma, don't use Jiffy Lube.in Central Oklahoma, they are owned by Oklahoma Preventative Maintenance LLC. The franchisee is rude and uncooperative, and said he refuses to take care of it. I am stunned.
