I purchased a policy from Premier in October for one year. I immediately received an offer for a 25% discount if I renewed for an additional year. I did. I thought I had an extended auto warranty until November.
I recently received an offer in the mail from another extended warranty company with a letter that opens with this statement:
"As you may know, Premier Warranty Group is no longer offering extended vehicle coverage.By special arrangement, they have asked us to contact you and offer you the opportunity to extend coverage."
Well, I did not know. And I became immediately concerned about the existence of a policy that I thought was in force until later this year. I tried calling both the toll-free and regular phone numbers for the company. Everything has been disconnected. I called Directory Assistance for Oklahoma, and the phone company has no further information on Premier Warranty Group.
How can they get away with this? Why can't we get someone like the State's Attorney General involved? I would also be interested in participating in a class action suit.
