I paid sopps to install an engine. 8 months later they tell me the engine is no good and needs rings/pistons. I paid for the engine repairs and for a rebuilt carb and clutch job.
The carb doesn't work right and the clutch still goes "chunk-chunk" when i try to put it in reverse or second gear and it still sticks.
Sopps bypassed needed repairs that should have been addressed during the installation of the engine, the repair of the bad engine they installed or the installation of the rebuilt carb. Robert turner told me they didn't attach the vacuum hoses because when they did the engine died out.
I was not informed of that problem until after i paid them over $2000. And i was told the vacuum hoses didn't have anything to do with the engine or the carb.
I asked him to write down all that was wrong with the carb and clutch and engine after all the repairs were supposedly done and he did and refused to give me a copy of the written "estimate" (for lack of a better word) so i snatched a copy and he physically tried to take it from me.
Once he realized he couldn't get the paper from me he physcially prevented me from getting into my car and driving away.
