On Dec. 2 i contacted autotrails about having a jeep picked up in New Jersey and delievered to Al. They told me the price $835.00 and that it would take 9-11 days for delivery i was so excited we had bought this jeep for our daughters christmas so this was great it was the cheapest qoute and shortest delivery time other companies was giving me a 14-21 day time frame.
So i jumped on it they took all the information over the phone (credit card adress etc) pick up was suppose to be between the 6-7.
Then the nightmare began after the car was not picked up by the 7th we started calling only to be greeted with rude employees and a run around about when the car would be picked up. So we canceled the contract and was informed by Lewis in customer service that if we canceled at this time we would lose the entire 835.00 so we reinstated the contract and waited till the 14th day after the original pick-up day (it reads this in the contract that after the 14th day of orginial pick-up day you may cancel if the car has not been picked up and recieve full refund).
We canceled the contract on the 23 of dec. And was told on the 28 the money would be on our card by the end of the week. Today is 2/3/06 and we are still being told that by the end of the week our money will be refunded.
This is the most rudest company i ever delt with they are very abusive one employee threatened to come to our home and break my husbands legs They hang-up on you as soon as they hear your complaint.
They claim that there is no one in the refund dept. Accept on mondays after 1:00 pm they seem to have no supervisiors etc because i have even asked to speak with the owner of this company and was quickly told i was not allowed but when you ask to speak to somebody above them they always tell you there is no one to speak to
Beware the price and delivery time might sound good but this company is unreliable you will be better off going with a more expensive company lets ban togather and put this company out of business
