On May 9 I went to Snappy Auto Care Center to replace my timing belt and water pump for $430.40. It was done and paid for. 1 month later another company purchased Snappy and changed the name to Snappy Auto Care, Inc. They have the same building but claim that they are different companies.
On January, my car dealer informed me that the timing belt and water pump were faulty and needed replacing; they recommended that I go back to Snappy and get my money back, since the timing belt did not last a year. When I contacted Snappy they informed me of the company name change and said that my warranty is void.
I feel cheated and want Snappy to refund me $430.40, since I had to replace the timing belt and water pump again at my expense.
If you live in Port Saint Lucie, Florida, then please think twice before going to Snappy. The same thing could happen to you.
