I ordered a 2000 model vehicle in July 1999. It arrived mid-October 1999. I had SPECIFICALLY given instructions that I did NOT want any, "Joe Kidd Dodge, " stickers, emblems, or other decals placed on my vehicle with adhesives, screws, or rivets. I repeatedly told Joe (Dumb-Ass) Kidd Dodge staff this. I was assured the whole time that it would not have anything on the vehicle.

Upon taking receipt of the vehicle I noticed it had a tag on the front. At the time of picking it up I thought, "well I'll just remove the tag and the bracket later." So about 2 weeks after I picked it up I removed the plate and bracket, and guess how it was attached. I thought for sure they'd attach it to points established by the manufacturer. But no. They took self-threading (wood type) screws and drilled into the front plastic bumper. I ordered the vehicle with an alternate front fascia because of the appearance, and now I have 4 big holes with plastic hanging out of them. It looks shitty.

I called back to the dealership and started bitching that I requested several times that I wanted nothing attached to my vehicle. I called the Dodge 800#, they said that the dealer would have to fix the problem since the dealer caused it. That was reasonable. Upon calling the dealer back several times, all I got was, "We do that to all our cars, and maybe if you'd said something when you picked it up, " kind of B.S. Of course I thought (when I picked up the vehicle) that they would have enough intelligence not to self tap something into that kind of front bumper after I requested several times for them no to do it. Dumb Bastards. I've called them about 10 times with no success. One of the salesman is a really good guy (Bill Arnold) but the rest of the staff, especially the owner and upper management (Ron Kidd and Jeff Hargis) are solely there to rake in as much money for themselves as possible. Don't believe one bullshit word about customer satisfaction, they don't give a rat's-ass because I've been dissatisfied since 2 weeks after picking it up. They have made no attempt to correct their mistake. Watch your ass with this dealership, they give a good corporation like Chrysler a bad name.

Please help me get my money back, I deserve the money it would take to replace my front bumper cover. I called Joe Kidd Dodge parts dept. They quoted $314.00 for an unpainted replacement. Then I was sent to the body shop. I could not get the guy to give me an accurate estimate over the phone. 1st he said I'd have to give him the V.I.N., then when I realized I had it to give it to him he changed his story. He said he'd have to see the vehicle. I told him all I wanted was a new bumper cover painted and put on the truck. He gave me a rough estimate but said he wouldn't do an estimate over the phone. He said he'd have to access the computer. I told him that's what I wanted him to do, for him to do that and call me back and he still insisted he'd have to see the truck. I let the guy know again that all I wanted done was just replace and paint a new bumper cover, the dumbass wouldn't do it for me. The best estimate he gave me was $375 for the labor to paint and assemble on the truck and the part, which was $314. That would be $689 total. Plus all the long distance phone calls to Cincinnati from Ann Arbor. $700 should do it. Thanks.
