Bar None Barnone Hundai Of Jacksonville Summit Kia total ripoff! Guaranteed $0 down then wanted $3888 for Government fees

I was looking to try to get a car loan online. Suddenly, 1-800-bar-none sends me an email stating that they approved me and to call them to get in touch with criss cross at a certain number.

I had to work a long day the next day, so I decided to wait. While working, I received a phone call from a lady from Hundai of Jacksonville, Fl (forgive if I didn't spell that right) who said she was at a bar none center located at the car dealership. I asked her could I call back, so I did.

When I got back in touch with her she was very excited and said I had been approved for $0 down up to $17,000! Of course I was sceptical, so I asked her, "Am I actually approved or is this a pre-approval. I mean, do you actually have my credit report and have it approved all the way?" she replied, "Yes mam', I wouldn't have your file if you were not approved! Matter of fact, you are approved for 2 different programs. You could go with the $0 down or you could go with a program where you just pay your taxes, tag & title up front.." She told me to go to Summit Kia here in Waycross, Ga because they are in with the program and a bank picked me up down here and was ready to sign a check and get me in a ride! WOW!

So, I go to the car lot where I meet a really nice man who says he doesn't need my approval number, he just wants me to fill out another credit application. I told him I would, but they already had my credit info. He said it was "no biggie". He also got a copy of my drivers license for proof of who I am, and I gave him my most recent contract agreement to show how much I gross. I also gave him a bank statement proving my business is successful. His comment on that was that my income was actually greater than what I typed in on the website, everything was great!

He comes back about 10 minutes later and asks me do I have someone to co-sign, I told him no that wasn't the agreement. He said well, you can have a co-signer with good credit or you may go with paying your taxes & stuff up front. I said well, I would rather pay the taxes and title up front. He then proceeded to tell me the fees would be $3,888! Get this, I hadn't even looked at a car, muchless priced one! So therefore, I asked how did he come up with that & he said government fees because I had bad credit.

I immediately went home and called barnone. They told me the same thing, after I already went to the lot. She also said that I was getting the car for $0 down, but I had to pay the 3,888 to get it. Finally I found out, no matter if I bought a car that costed 3,000 I would have to pay 3,888 down to get financed. The 3,888 doesn't go towards the car! They call these "Government Fees"?

Ending of this story is, they are commiting fraud, theft by deception & probably plenty more. I have searched and found nothing on any government fees. It's all a gimmick!

BEWARE OF BAR NONE and ANY of their affiliates!
