On 10/29/05 I had a pick up at wireless 101 on a 5x10 trailer for a oneway trip to carthage nc. When I called to get the trailer I was told that wireless 101 would look at my car and hook the trailer up to make sure everything worked. The lady in the office told me she didn't know what to do. She never had to do anything like that before.
I hook up the trailer the best I could and drove home. Get home and the lights on the trailer did not work. I called uhaul to get the problem fixed. I was told that raodside would be out in a few hours to fix it. No one ever showed up.
On the 11/2/05 I call uhaul and tell them the problem again. And again was told that roadside would be here at my house in a few hours. Still no one showed up to fix it. I paid 329.00 for this trailer the trailer had to be back on the 3rd of nov.
So on 11/3/05 I call wireless 101 and tell the lady on the phone what was wrong and what I have been told for 2 days about getting it fixed. She told me she would call me right back. She had to call and talk to her boss to see what to do about this.
20 minutes pass she calls me right back told me if I could bring the trailer to brandenburg she would give me a full refund on the trailer. Now I live about 35 miles from brandenburg. So I hook up the trailer and pull it all the way to brandenburg with no lights. And I drive a lil jeep. So you couldnt see the lights on my jeep from the trailer.
When I get there I go in tell them who I am and what I was told over the phone. A guy comes out from the back told me I wasn't getting my money back that I had the trailer for 3 days. I told him that was bull that I was told to bring the trailer back to get a full refund for my troubles. Still he would not give me the money back.
So I leave come home call and write uhaul. And told them had this place is giving them a bad name and what happen. The man I talked to over the phone at 1800gouhaul told me someone would be calling me in 2 days.
It has now going on 4 days. So now I can't get my stuff to nc where I should have been on the 1st on nov. Now I can't move till I get the money for truck or trailer to move my stuff. I even paid a guy to hook up new wires to my jeep just to make sure that wasn't the problem. So now I'm out all this money and seems like I can't do anything about it. And no one wants to help me.
