HI Tech Collision, Inc
This company claims to have ASE Mechanics, but for mechanical repairs they took to Firestone to repair. The right rear hub bearing is bad and the noise is loud. False promises deceptive company

My car was involved in a car accident on Jan. 14. Hi Tech Collison agreed to repair my car for $3,402.39. The owner agreed to waive my $500 deductible, therefore accepting GEICO's check for $2,902.39. However, the owner denied the waiver of the deductible and we settled for an additional $250.00 to be paid by me, therefore the total paid for repairs was $3,152.39.

Hi Tech released my car to me on 2/4/02 and I had to take back to the shop. The car had no power, the brakes wouldn't work and the trunk would not open. Hi Tech took my car to Firestone in Norcross to make mechanical repairs because their mechanic was not at work. Firestone keep my car for (2) weeks, ordering parts and on February 23rd, I got my car back. The car brakes were scrubbing, the car when driving was making a loud klonker noise and the gas tank was leaking. On Monday, I telephoned Hi Tech and they said to bring the car back. I returned the car on Monday 2/25 and on Wednesday 2/27, no further repairs had been made. I took my car from Hi Tech's shop and took it to Automotive Specialists of North Atlanta on 2/27.

Automotive Specialiest did a diagnosis and they stated that the brake shoes was wrong and the pads was put on backwards. The cable parking brake was put on wrong, the trailing arm was still bent from the accident and the bolt to hold it was stripped and loose. The camber adjusting cam was messed up, the hub bearings was bad and the suspension parts were all used. On my estimate that was given to me by Hi tech, the suspension parts were supposed to be new. The mechanic advised me that the body work done was unacceptable and my car was never safe to drive. Auto Spec made repairs totaling $583.53. I called Hi Tech on 2/28 and told them what was found and they verbally agreed to reimburse me and bring the car back for repairs to the hub and trailing arm. On Saturday, March 2nd, I took the car back. On Tuesday, March 5th, Hi Tech said they couldn't reimburse me because it was Firestone's fault and they would need to take the car back to Firestone for further repairs. Hi Tech said that they fixed the trailing arm, but Firestone needed to make other repairs. I took possession of my car and will not allow Firestone or Hi Tech to do anymore work.

Hi Tech has undocumented workers as mechanics and body repairmen. The mechanic that my husband and I met on March 2nd at Hi Tech, SPEAKS NO ENGLISH. How did he take the exam for ASE Certified Mechanics? We were trying to conversate with this man and it was " no speak English". My contract for work done and to be completed by, was with Hi Tech. I refused to go any further with them. My car is still not fully repaired and it sounds like a TRAIN COMING! My guess is HI TECH is really NO TECH!
