We had a tune up on our 1993 Chevy Astro in June at the cost of $325.00.in August our check engine light came on, so we called them because this is what we took it in for in the first place. The Warranty is 4000 miles or 90 days, so we returned it within the time frame stated in their warranty. They did some test on it and said that the ECM (computer) was bad, and that it would have to be changed. So that cost us another $319.06. We picked the van up on 8/25, and was told by "Ken" that the check engine light might come on, and not to worry about it, because we had to give the van about 14days to really get "use" to the new computer. This didn't sound right to us, so we called a local dealer to see if this was true, and they laughed and said "NO". So we called KM back and took it in again, and again, they said that there was nothing wrong with the van (per their computers) and to give it a few more days. Here it is 9/8/05 and still the van's check engine light keeps coming on, the idle in park has the speedomoter go up to 5 MPH (IN PARK) and the van still isn't running right.
We took the van in this morning after talking to Wes (one of the owners) and they had the van for 4 hours and all of a sudden there's something wrong with a motor and the break lights, (Per their computer). But just a few days before this, with the van doing the same thing now as then, there was nothing wrong with it. I have asked for my money back, as they didn't do the job right. They can't prove that they did any work on the van, except verbally telling me (which at first I didn't question) and to top it all off, when I spoke with Dave today, he said there was no "Ken" (even though, both me and my husband have meet him in person, talked with him over the phone many times, and my husband even saw him yesterday when he took the van to them) And that he wanted us to do him a favor "Never come back again!"
I have filed a report with the BBB and with News Fox 10. I just want everyone to know about this in the Arizona (Peoria and all areas) that to stay away from this company. They take your money (yes, the first day I called them that the van was worse than when we took it to them, they said to wait till tomorrow and then they "RAN" to the bank and cashed my check) and don't do quailty work. Oh, and don't let them drive your car, smell their breath first, you might not like what you smell... Drinkers
