I had a friend reccommend my car be taken to Aamco transmission on 201 MLK Blvd in Clearwater, FL for some transmission work. When I went to get the car towed out of there after they diagnosed it with a bad tranny (I took it out of there because they were charging me double what I got an estimate for somewhere else) the front seats (leather) were covered in grease and grime. Both seats, both front floor mats, doors, dash, radio, and everywhere else visible in the front of the car was dirty.
I got the tranny fixed elsewhere and when I brought it back to them to have them pay to get it cleaned, they refused. They said because I had kept the car there for 2 weeks and then not had them do the work that they were pissed and wouldnt clean it. I even was going to have a friend (he owns a detail shop) clean it for $100. It is a $250 job and I got it for $100. So for $100 they lost my business and got reported here. Scumbags if you ask me.
Just for the record, I was extremely nice about it and did eveything I could to be civil and just wanted them to take responsibility for it.
