First Extended Warranty - Folsom Kia ripoff! They've had my car 7 weeks now, then denied my claim for cracked head, burned valve which is a internal lubricated part

August 27

I had my car towed to folsom kia seven weeks ago. I am now being told first extended wont cover my car. It took kia four days to let me know the battery was dead, which I told them when the car was towed. Another three days to tell me the fuel relay switch was bad which I also had told them. They say they have to do this themselves.

They told me my car was to old to put on a diagnostic tester (I have a 2000kia sportage) by the way I have my car there because its running off 3 cylinders. They tell me they'll have to little by little try to figure out what's wrong with it. They sent the heads to a head shop, tell me its cracked in 7 places. And a burned valve. They tell my fiance it's cracked once, where the valve is.

I had called first extended 3 or 4 times to see if the heads or valves were covered. I was told a got the best warranty, and yes they're covered. Around august 10, after they finally figure out whats wrong. They call it into first extended. First extended needs all my maintenance receipts. It took me 9 days to get those, but they got them and so did kia.

Now, kia calls for the ok. Again, I get a call from kia telling me they denied my claim, because they didn't know if the burned valve cracked the head which would be covered, or if the head burned the valve, which isn't covered. This is almost impossible to prove eitherway.

The next day, after a ton of questions and phone calls to kia, justin (the mechanic) calls first extended & tells them the head was cracked because of the valve. They still denied my claim. We asked for a independent inspector to go look at it, but they refused.

What the hell is going on?

Tomorrow I'm making phone calls to the dealer I bought the car from and to the newspaper and to CALL 3. A tvstation the helps consumers when they're being ripped off and does a live program looking into these businesses that are ripping you off. After that we're hiring a lawyer. I'm in debt $800.00 for a rent a car, which I no longer can afford $100.00 in debt for towing, and the bill for my car is up to $3,000.00. WOW! Seven weeks later.

I think some body needs to do something about this!
A very unhappy customer
