My transmission busted (lost reverse) and I cold called some repair shops ans A&D on 8TH AVE S. Nashville said they would provide free towing and a free diagnostic with a 3 day turn around time. After I had my vehicle towed to them they did a electronic diagnostic and I guess that was the free part. Well they needed to take it apart to find the trouble that was $200.
Before I gave the go ahead to tear it down he told me $800 plus the tear down charge so about $1000. Well 10 days later they have it fixed with a bill off $1500. OK sometimes it hurts a little. But A&D on 8TH AVE S. Nashville TN refused to let me have or even view a parts list or work order. Because I know a little about transmissions I asked some questions and in turn
found out this company just tuned it up for $1500 and 10 days wait.
When I called the owner on his scam he demanded cash only for my truck. So my wife called the cops. Which turned out to be a bad idea because the owner raised the price right in front of the police, as a punishment I guess. Well after the fiasco I ended up paying cash to get my auto and guess what the tranny is still messed up. Well I have learned about this company so
hopefully you wont have to.
