Warning: Hold on to your brakes... Oops you don't have any! Not in the later models of the Chevrolet Malibu! They may look good, but the proof is in the pudding. We owned 2 malibu's in 20 years and changed brakes rarely. So we went out and in 2003 we bought a 2004. How is it that we have had the brakes done 5 times in less than a 2 years? Sure, the bumper to bumper warranty. Right. They fix it for free for another year. Totally unacceptable. I have at least 2 more years of payments. The dealer World Auto Sales, in Memphis, Tennessee sell low mileage, pre-rentals from Budget Car Rental.
The thing that gets me is that I have been approached 2 times by other Malibu owners in the 99, models and asked about the brakes.
