Americredit collections contacts on said past due account. Contact was made between hours of 7am and 12 pm everyday for approx 3 months. Failed to use Miranda Law on contact, Gave information to any inculding minors that answered the phone. References that were used on sales contract were contacted at all hours of morning and night when and asked questions that should not have been asked. They even pretended to be law enforcement and personal friends that had spoken with me just a couple of weeks ago and this is the number that was left or stated I had just called them from the number.
Then they contracted a company called Hill & Associates collection and Recovery. They were sent out to repo the car. They came the first time at 3:00 am banged, kicked on door rang door bell for about 30 minutes stright back to back. Called home all day and for about 2 days back to back and then used *67 to block number when they did not work the came back on 03/20/05 bang knocked and kicked door shined flash lights in home.
Later that day came back again went across the street and questioned seveal of the neighbors about times we are home who lives in the house, and oh yeah did you know your nebighor had a warrent out for her arrest (which no such thing is ture might I add nothing has been filed nor am I a crimnal) my sister came outside they did not ask whom she was yet she asked them to leave or she would call police then they screamed we will tell them you are stealing a car they stayed for 1hr and blocked the drive way all while calling the home phone.
I filed an affidivat and filed complant with the FTC on both companies I am sure that I am not alone in the treatment gives to its customers
Customer service is rude and will not give correct information or any information I requested at that time they told me becase of my high interest rate that they gave me 18% I had bad credit yet at the time my credit score was 700. I do belive that is above the countys average. Yet that had nothing to do with my reson for calling yet they felt a need to inform me??? I requested a payement arrangement and or derferment of payment they advised they did not offer either. Billing does not show up when it is supposed to, contact information???
