The people requested Kevin.
Kevin quoted me in person that it would take 2 weeks.
Kevin quoted $500 for labor and $500 for a used motor.

Called Kevin and he said he found a used motor.
Price is $850 with warrantee.
Takes about a week to put in.
Should be done next week; 1/21.

Kevin had not even work on the car, no excuse.
Got some equipment out of the car. (TV, Radio, etc)
Kevin quoted me that he would be done on 1/26
Said that I would need a new Timing Belt.
Assumed that the car price would be $850 $500= $1350

Got to North Carolina and Kevin didn't answer the phone.
Got back on the bus to go back to LaGrange, GA. $46

Called the shop and talk to another worker said Kevin went out of town.
Feb.-2
Called Kevin; told him to put a muffler on the car.
Told me that it will cost around $65.
Kevin said that the car should be done on 2/5.
Kevin said don't come until he call. He'll back later on Friday.
I told Kevin he still didn't give price, what's the price around?
Kevin said when he call me later he would tell me.

Kevin didn't call; another worker from the shop called and said the car was not ready.
Other worker said that the motor wasn't any good, and Kevin had to install another motor.

Called Kevin and he said that car will be done on 2/12.
Kevin said that the car was running, he took it for a test drive and everything was alright.
Kevin said that the power steering had locked so he had to replace it. But other that the car was good.
Never said that I had to pay him for a replacement or whatever he had done to the power steering.
Said that I need a new back tire, the old tire had a knot in it. $50

Called the shop and Kevin's phone to let him know that I would be there on Saturday; 2/12. Receive no answer.
Talk to Guy and he said that it will be alright if I came on Saturday around 12pm.

Left to go to Cowpens Sc on greyhound bus. $46

Went to the shop at 8am; only because that was the only ride I had.
Talk to Kevin and he said that he thought that I was coming at 12pm.
I told him I'll stay and wait; that was fine with him.
Asked him how mach will it cost and he said $2000.
Why? Charges were for a motor ($850), muffler ($65), timing belt (), tire ($50), radiator (), alternator (), fans (), heater cord (), fluids () and the labor ($500).
As I was waiting Kevin was with his family member (daughter) that whole time and didn't even work on my car.
There was anther person working on the car the whole time I was there.
Found out that the car was leaking oil; couldn't stop it.
At 6pm the other worker told me that the head of the motor was bad.
Had to stay in a hotel because the bus didn't com until 7am. $ 29.
Had to catch a cab to the bus station. $10
Had to catch the Greyhound back to LaGrange, GA. $56
Kevin told my uncle over the phone that he will need to put another motor in.

Called the shop for Kevin and was told that he went out of town, and wouldn't be back until Thursday; 2/17/32005

Called Kevin shop and his cell phone, and didn't get an answer.

Called Kevin cell phone and whoever was talking a lot of crap. Said that Kevin wasn't around and that he had broken his leg, said people in hell want ice cold water, and other things.
Called the shop and talked to a worker named Guy and he told me that my can was token to another shop, and that Kevin said it should be done on Monday.
Talk to the man at the other shop, John Morgan and he said that my car wouldn't be done until Friday 2/4.

Talk with john Morgan and he told me that he just got back from out of town and to call Kevin to get the scoop.
Called Kevin's shop and received no answer.
Called Kevin's cell phone and got no answer; couldn't leave a massage because the voice box was full.
Kevin has my car for 54 days, has installed 3 used motors in the car for what I know so far. Jan.-9
