My name is Kim and after I got my loan from cash call and received the paper work I realized that I was lied to from the start. I was told it was a low interest loan, I was dumb and did not write the rate down but after getting my paper work from them it was a 79% interest rate on a $2,600.00 loan.
My 1st bill I got stated a interest rate of 81.72%. When you call you get the run around and know one has the same answers (ie.interest rate, payoff amount etc.) I also had until the 15th of every month to pay but if I did not pay it on the 1st of the month they would call me by the 2nd already adding in the late fee of $15.00. They call you many times a day they call your work just as much.
I sent them a letter certified by mail telling them not to call my job any more, they still did it and claimed they never got the letter after faxing it to them with the mail certified signed notice they stopped calling my job.
After paying them for a year a total of $1,838.00 I called for my pay off amount it was$2,816.00 to the best of there records (I got 3 diffrent amounts in one day.) In dec/06 I paid them off so I thought, I called in on dec/16 t asked for my pay off amount $2,240.39 I went and sent it to them by pay pal and put on the memo paid in full.
Well guess what I got in the mail today 2/24/07 a bill from them for $116.37 they said I never called in on 12/16/05 and talk to any one about the pay off amount and that the person I said I talked to doesn't work there. The bill is for interest owed.
When asked why the are asking for it 2 months later they said they were waiting for me to pay it and since I never did they decided to send me a bill. They refuse to take it off my record. So even after you have paid them so you thought you still owe them. We need to shut them down!
