1. A 4 month loan that took me 3 months to get a payment history? Which meant that the gap insurance I took out could do nothing to settle my claim. Thus, I had to cancel the gap insurance, and they would not cooperate with the underwritters and notify them that the vehicle had been paid off even a month after the payment had been made. After all of that, the check still went to Americredit. Americredit sent in endorsed through the US mail and did not even notify me that they had recieved it ot mailed it, despite having talked to them 4 times in the 2 days prior to them sending it out.
2. A payment posted to the wrong account. Then 6 times people called me to collect and refused to listen when I told them it had been made and offered the reference number from my bank account that they pulled the payment from electronically. It took a month to get them to finally listen and check it out. There were 4 poeple who said they would have someone get back to me, and of course they did not.
3. Of the 6 people who called me, 2 threatened me with a charge off on an account that was not one day late.
4. The total loss department of this company apparently has no managers, and the customer service department cannot give you anyone higher in the company than the call center supervisor. They WILL NOT resolve issues, and they will not give you the name of a manager who can.
5.2 months past the pay off date and I still do not have my contract returned or a paid in full statement.
