I bought a car in 2004. My car was only 12.400. When we have called to get a pay off it's up in 16.000s. How could this be? I put 5000 down. They have lost several payments or I have done automatic payments and they call saying I hadn't made my payments.
They harrass my family. They have cost me one job already, calling and harrassing and being rude, threatening to repo my car several times, keeping me stressed to the max.
I've been in the hospital and scared to death if my car will be there or not. I wish someone could help me with this. I'm a recent widow and single parent; my car is my livelihood. How can companies do this legally?
