This is the 2nd time I have had a bad experience at the LAX Airport AVIS car rental. From arrival to departure we spent nearly 2 hours there wasting precious vacation time. There's no rhyme or reason why this rental company has to have such long lines, not enough counter help and the inability to find the cars on the lost that they assign to you. Every other rental company manages to find a way to make this work, why can't Avis? This will be the last time I rent from them anywhere. They did try to upgrade us but that was only because they couldn't find our car on their lot and we were already there for more than 90 minutes. They need a lot of help. I would not recommend them at all.
