I wanted to use the internet to get a copy of my driving record. I thought this was a legitimate DMV site and found out IT IS NOT!
Stupid me gave them personal information including my S.S.A.# and my vehicle VIN# and for $1.00 this site was supposed to supply me with my driving record.
Not only did they charge me an additional $1.00 but an additional $19.95, too! And I NEVER received my driving record!
When I finally found a phone number and called I was told that I authorized the $19.95 charge (wow, how did they get me to do that without me even knowing it?!!?) I was told that I could cancel my "membership" (what membership???) and they would reverse the $19.95 charge to my VISA (still too soon to know if they are really going to do it) but I was told they couldn't do anything about the 2 $1.00 charges. I know this isn't really alot of money but it's the principle of it all. Not only was I overcharged but I never received the report promised to me
