Purchased a coupon for gutter cleaning by ABE Handyman Service in Bethlehem, PA. Called immediately to redeem the coupon and was told to call back in two weeks to schedule. I called as instructed and then needed to call numerous times without any response to my voice mails.
Finally emailed Living Social customer service after trying to redeem the coupon for over a month. They suggested I try one more time and get back to them if I had problems.
The handyman responded and set an appointment for gutter cleaning. I took time off from work to meet him - and he didn't show up, and didn't call. He is no longer responding to my calls.
Have emailed Living Social three times since then to report the problem and request a refund - and received no response at all from customer service. I will continue to request my money back and to find a resource to help me make this right.
This was a waste of my $45, and I would not recommend Living social or ABE Handyman Services to anyone.
