Hunter Marketing Inc
Scamme

I showed up, interviewed with a Diana Park or Alford or whatever name she chooses to go by.
I was invited back for another interview. I was appalled at what I went through based on my discussion during my "preliminary interview" I asked Diana several times (and several different ways) if what the company did was door-to-door sales; and was assured that it was not. Imagine my surprise when, after being taken to NEWARK for an entire day with no way to leave, I find out that this is EXACTLY what Hunter Marketing does.
I took my lumps and spent the day being quiet and observant as I had agreed to do. Unfortunately for Hunter Marketing, I was VERY observant. I spoke with one woman who purchased a package from Hunter Marketing on a previous date, only to find that the coupons weren't honored by the company who supposedly contracted them.
I advised the girl I was observing that we were not allowed to enter government buildings, as government employees are not permitted from participating in such "deals", but she did not listen. She even went so far as to repeatedly shake the back, LOCKED jail entrance of a police building. After being informed by an officer that it was a restricted area, she continued to try to make a sale. I'm sure Diana would consider that work ethic; I (and the officer) considered it trespassing, soliciting, and borderline harassment. She then went on to enter several buildings where it was clearly posted that solicitors were prohibited and after being asked to leave, ARGUED with the proprietor about her right to be there. When I questioned her about her actions, she informed me that Diana has told the employees to ignore "no soliciting" signs, as they do not pertain to HUNTER MARKETING. I can tell that the people are either misinformed or lying.
As the day wore on, I emailed a friend who works for the state of Ohio
And asked for a preliminary report on Hunter Marketing; she promised to respond as soon as anything was found (which was not easy; Diana has done a great job of covering her tracks). I waited for a response while we drove back to Columbus, during which time I was "taught the good word" by the two people in the car.
Religion has no place in the business world and I do not appreciate being preached to in a hatchback Ford. Their religion, the "Hunter Marketing Religion" (they did include Diana's proximity to her faith in their spiel), and my religion should NEVER be mentioned in a work setting. I felt like it was a religious cult and that made me realize that things were shadier than I thought.
Then I received the return e-mail from the state of Ohio and knew that I needed to leave ASAP. It seems that Hunter Marketing is beyond shady (hopping from small town to small town) and, after informing them of the day I had and all that I learned from the girl (Diana should probably train her to not spill everything to people who aren't even hired yet), they have launched a full investigation. And it appears that Hunter Marketing has its issues as well as Diana having a past herself.
So I figured that I would post this so other people don't have to waste their Day and being fed lies by shady people that have skeletons in their closet trying to promote how successful they are. Next thing you know Diana will have you drinking Kool Aid.
