I'm a present employee of smiths food and medicine. I work on the fuel center and on october 10 cash had went missing in the cabinet. Normally i had been at fault because it was on my change. I am aware they had to suspend me to help investigate the problem. Since i have did nothing wrong i'm not concerned, nevertheless i've missed work with a whole week. I named my director on wednesday, october 19th. He stated the guy who needs to do the investigation was not likely to be there until october 20 or oct 21. I've not received a telephone call. Etc october 21 i named my director again and he said the guy who the investigation wouldn't be there till these monday, oct 24. That is rediculous. I can't offord to miss work and everytime i call to discover while i could return to work they tell me "i will call you tomorrow" or "we-don't understand yet since the guy needs to come today or that". I really believe this to become a attached up and unprofessional. I've family to look after and that i can't afford to miss any function. So far as i'm concerned they're suspending daily which is extremly unprofessional. My complaint is straightforward. It can't dominate per week to research anything this simple. I've worked in a supermarket before like a supervisor and regardless it's never taken this extended. It's very suspisious in my experience that they're taking this long and that i am losing money everyday that i want. I've bills to pay the same as other people and can't manage to miss work with this extended. When the managers at smiths food and substance can't do their job properly, they shouldn't be working there.
