A representative from this company approached my 78 year old mother-in-law outside her home in Troy, MO. This person claimed a neighbor had ordered meat and their freezer went out. My mother-in-law ended up purchasing four boxes of flash frozen chicken. The man said he also had steaks for sale and tried pressuring her into purchasing more. He said he would not just be stopping by but would wait for her to call to place an order. Funny thing, not only did he not leave a business card but there was no contact information on the boxes. I only found the trail of names through hours of research.
It upsets me that an individual would approach an elderly woman with this scam. I personally checked with all the residents on the cul-de-sac she lives on and no one has ever bought meat from this company. Also, the boxes were not sealed and there are no expiration dates anywhere on the box or on the individual freeze dried portions.
Needless to say, this meat will not be consumed and she is out the money.
