Stay away from Quechua Restaruant in Norwalk, CT. They will scam you!
I purchased a Groupon for Quechua, and was careful to read the small print, and follow all the rules, and decided to try it out (thats what the intent of Groupon is for! To get customers to try our your restaurant or service, and hopefully, have them become repeat customers)..
I went to pay with a Groupon, and they REFUSED to accept it because it was a "Saturday night". The small print made no mention of this, but I decided not to make a scene. (I should have made a scene, and walked out without paying, since they refused payment). On top of that, they were rude!
I figured that it was a mistake, and contacted Groupon, who clarified that it WAS a mistake, and that the Groupon was valid on Saturday nights as well. The rep said that someone from Quechua would contact me and make it right! Great! I thought. But that NEVER HAPPEND. QUechua never called, and when I tried calling Monica Lopez, the owner, she never ever returned my call. So, it must be a scam. They lure customers in with a Groupon, but DOES NOT ACCEPT IT. I gave them a chance, but they never tried to make things right! So, I hope Ms Lopez realized that she lost a customer forever, and she lost many referral business forever (tons of my friends will avoid that place) and I hope that everyone reading this will not make my mistake. There are SOOO many great restaurants in Norwalk, with awesome food, friendly owners, but this one is not one of them..
