This past Thursday I went to Applebee's in Gurnee, IL 60031 on Hunt Club Rd & Grand Ave. The problem was the way my Fish & Chips were served-In a wire basket lined with a sort of thin waxed paper, when you cut your fish you also cut the paper below-now your getting fish and little shreds of paper on your fork and on the table-who decides to serve the fish
& Chips in this manner-Not smart-Also-I got the worst coleslaw I've ever had-frozen & soggy-yuck-told my waitress
about the slaw so she went back & brought another-it wasn't frozen but it was awful too-I told her it was not good either and why was the fish served in a wire basket with paper you could cut through and she said it was how they serve it? Never once did anyone come to ask me if they could fix the problem-Also, I always get the French Onion Soup - usually it is very good but
this time is was just close to warm and not that flavorfull
