Went to lunch there today. This time we ate there. I have worked next to this Unos for 8 years! Mind you the place has only been since or there abouts! Order this lunch before. Husband and I ordered the lunch fish and chips. Menu item description from menu and website:
FISH & CHIPS
A batter-dipped fillet of haddock, deep-fried and served with french fries, coleslaw and red pepper tartar sauce.
As in the past (say about mid last month) when I order the lunch fish and chips it has been a WHOLE batter-dipped fillet. Well this time it was a half! To be exact it was my husband's other half of fish! I couldn't believe it for $6.79 I only got half a piece of fish. The waiter told me "it's always been that way, since I've worked here for over one year". I worked next to the place for 8 years. He went on to say that I could have the other half for $1.00 more. I ask to speak with a manager. She tell me "it's been that way since I worked here about 4 years". I worked next to the place for 8 YEARS!!! She insulted my intelligence by tell me: "maybe I order the dinner size at lunch"—NO.; or "maybe I paid the extra $1.00, but I can get the other half for $1.00 extra"-NO! She did give me another half. We paid for our meal and left. It's always something with that damn Uno's. I figure if I don't go for a six-month period they would improve—NOT! Will not go there ever again and will spread the word like fire on gasoline!!!
