The owner of the stop-in family restaurant hired my girlfriend in june of '08. Within the first week she came to me complaining of sexual harassment. She told me that she had to pick something up off of the floor, and this guy made a sexual joke to a 16yr old girl about how she was "supposed to bend over" instead of squatting to pick it up.
She has since quit her job there, with complaints that the owner and his girlfriend were stealing her tips, and couldn't agree on what they wanted her to do.
She now works at another restaurant with no problems.
Just today, 8-15 we find out he has been spreading rumors about her. Telling her old coworkers that she is pregnant, constantly running her down.
She and i just want to live our lives peacefully.
On a side note, my mom and i went to eat there a few times. Eggs that were ordered cooked were served half raw. Peppers that come with the "french dip" were old and soggy, yet the owners girlfriend claims they were rated an "A" on almost every health department review they've had.
