I went to Zake for lunch and specifically ordered from the lunch menu because I only had an hour for lunch. After 45 min no sushi I asked the waitress to check on my order she said it would be 2 minutes, then they only brought out only one of the 2 same orders for sushi. Another 15 minutes the second order came out for my lunch guest, I asked for the manager and asked her what the issue was with the delay it was not like they had to cook our food and there were only about 5 other tables other than us for lunch. She had the audacity to tell me some sushi plates take longer then others, I looked at my plate and there were 6 pieces of sashimi 6 pieces of sushi and I was like "please think about what you said". She apologized and said she will take care of this. I got my $28 lunch bill and saw that she only took off $2.80, wow. Needless to say I will not be coming back, there are way to many good sushi places in Houston to endure that kind of service.
