Rude, unprofessional, careless, theives, ripoff

Dear Sir or Madam:

On November 21 at around 11:45 P.M. A friend of mine and I went through the drive-thru. We were in separate vehicles. I was behind her in the drive-thru line. We waited for a few minutes and noticed people started to drive off.

My friend got up to the speaker box and waited a bit. She then drove to the first window. I waited at the speaker box and no one ever came on. My friend drove around and came beside me. She said they were closed.

We then proceeded next door to the Cracker Barrel convenient store. She told me that while she was at the window waiting to see what was going on, a McDonald's employee went to the drive-thru window, closed it, locked it, and then walked off.

When I was waiting in line, I had overheard a McDonald's employee talking outside and mentioned that they were closing at 11 P.M. It was still 15 minutes until such time.in addition, there were no signs anywhere that stated McDonald's was closing early. Furthermore, it was VERY rude of them to simply close and lock the window. They could have at least told my friend that they were closing early.

This gives me the impression that McDonald's does not want my business. Therefore, I will never purchase anything from any McDonald's again!

When we were at the Cracker Barrel, we noticed people were still driving up to McDonald's, waiting, then driving off. My reason for never going to a McDonald's again is because of the rudeness, lack of care for customers, and plain theft. I say theft because within the past month I have been ripped off at least three times by McDonald's. I pay for something but don't get it.

On one occasion I paid for bacon, but didn't get it. The two other times I ordered a Double Quarter Pounder with cheese. I get a single quarter pounder. One time with cheese, the other time with no cheese. For some, not getting bacon is no big deal. Well, when I'm paying $1 or more for a few strips of bacon, that adds up. Furthermore, I find it common to Large Size your meal and only get a medium.By ripping people off like this, McDonald's is saving a lot of money!

For those that say "Check your bag before you leave." Well, that's fine and dandy, but if you have a decent-sized order, what am I going to do, spend 5 minutes opening each burger package to make sure they did their job? If I can't trust that people cannot make a simple burger then I will go elsewhere. I understand people make mistakes, but with this McDonald's this is a reoccurring issue.

I did contact the corporate office about this.in the email I sent along what is basically above as well as a few questions I would like answered about this particular incident:

1.) Why was there no signs posted letting people know that McDonald's was closing early?

2.) If McDonald's was closing at 11 P.M., then why did they close at 10:45?

3.) Why did this employee feel she did not have to speak to a customer and simply shut the door in the customer's face? This rude attitude, in my opinion, is the equivalent of slamming the door in someone's face
