I was served raw chicken

About a month ago, my family and I went to Rally's for a Sunday brunch.
Well, after waiting for almost 25 minutes for our food we finally got it without the slightest apology for our wait. With that fact set aside, we headed home with our food in tow.
Now I should let you know that in our family its my wife, our two boys (ages 1 and 3) and myself. On this particular outing I ordered the chicken strip basket. Usually, we get chicken for our 3 year old because he prefers that over burgers. Luckily, on this day we decided on the burger for him.
So, we're sitting at the table with our Rally's food. I take a bite of a chicken strip and instantly I know something is wrong. I get through about a mid chew, when my gag reflex takes the better of me and spits it out on to the wrapper. Sitting there is a half chewed piece of raw chicken meat. I show the other part to my wife and she and I hurriedly grab all the other food before our two boys start in.
No more than 2 minutes later, I'm on the internet looking up the corporate number for Rally's. I call them and speak to one of their "customer service representatives". I explain the situation to her. She informs me that she would be turning this over to a manager and they would be in contact with this within the next day or two. Folks, that was like I said about a month ago. No phone call has been received. Nothing in the mail. This is what Rally's deems as "customer service". I'm not looking for coupons for free meals. At this point I will not step foot near a Rally's. And I will let anybody know, if the occasion or subject arises, of what happened. I'm not looking for even the money we spent on this meal. Someone should have contacted us and apologized. If the roles were reversed and it was me on end of receiving a complaint from a customer that bit into a piece of RAW chicken... Well, I would think that person deserved an apology.
And you know, I'm lucky that I was the one that found out the chicken was raw. If we had decided on it for our 3 year old, do you think he would have had the cognizance to inform us that he was eating raw meat? Of course not, and luckily this ended that way.
