6 of us went to Macaroni Grill on Saturday, March 10 at City Place in Silver Spring, Md. It took 1.5 hrs to be seated. Our server took another 10 min to acknowledge us. He took our drink order but never returned with the beverages. He apologized, took our appetizer order and then returned with the drinks, which were wrong. He never brought us any bread, he never refilled our glasses and it took 40 mins for our entrees to come out. To boot, one of the entrees was missing/forgotten. He never checked on us the entire time we ate, no plates to eat the appetizers on (I ended up getting them myself). He gave us 1 square of bread on a small saucer to split amoung 6 people. He didn't even mix up the pesto/olive oil dip that typically accompanies the bread. This on top of not giving us plates to eat our appetizers. Did I mention I had to go get those myself. They poured so much sauce on my plate that I could've eaten it with a spoon... It was like soup. The entire experience was atrocious. I will NEVER EVER eat at Macaroni Grill EVER again. And I will tell anyone that listens to do the same!!! Oh, the Manager was gracious enough to say "Sorry".
