My fiance, his brother & I decided to dine in at Charley's Steakery on Bride St. One afternoon. This would be our LAST. We go inside, order our meals, and started talking to someone we knew that was working the grill (behind the glass) while we were waiting for our food. We get our food, sit down, and are almost finished, when this woman walks out from the back up to our table and says, "My cashier is new, and she says you didn't pay!" I was pretty sure my fiance paid, as usual, so I told her that she did & she walked back in the door she came out of. No apology, no nothin'! & She did this in front of a whole dinning room full of customers.
She storms back out in probably 1 minute and says "NO YOU DIDNT, I LOOKED AT THE CAMERA!" I told her to calm down it wasnt that big of a deal, and she just got more rude with me. Just to get this woman to go away and save us some embarrassment, because we couldnt really remember for sure if we paid anyway, I told my fiance to just pay her. He gave her the 22.00, AGAIN.
As we were sitting there I started to think about it, and I am pretty sure he did pay (THE FIRST TIME), and I was getting upset about how we were treated. My fiance went to the counter and calmly asked her to see the video if it was indeed in the back, and she saw we didnt pay. She said no and started yelling saying she was going to call the police!!?
This lady was as discusting as they get, very rude, not very clean, presentable looking (Visible tattoos everywhere) and probably pocketed the money herself.!!!
